Local Area Development Authority
Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority was established in the year 1972. CHMDA carries an objective of “Better Chennai” to mushroom the city with better infrstructure and development. It is responsible for maintaining the city and providing various services to the residents of Chennai. CHMDA is constantly involved in framing and implementing various regulations and other aspects of town planning.
